About
Built by a Family, for Families
Williams Legacy Group exists so the next generation keeps what this one built. We teach estate planning in plain language and prepare documents from the choices you make.
Rico's Story
Rico Williams
Founder, Williams Legacy Group Inc. Author of The Legacy Blueprint.
My grandfather James, "Good Buddy" to everyone who knew him, gave the railroad his working life. When it was over, they gave him a watch. No pension. No trust. Nothing built to outlast him.
My grandmother Flora's family had land. They lost it, not because anyone took it, but because nobody taught them how to keep it. My mother, Cynthia, worked two jobs to make up the difference.
I started Williams Legacy Group because that pattern is not unusual. It is the default. The problem has never been access to the law. It is access to the knowledge. Most families never get the memo, so I wrote one.
I finished The Legacy Blueprint on April 4, Flora's birthday. A promise kept.
What Williams Legacy Group Is
An education and document preparation company. Williams Legacy Group is a trade name of Williams Legacy Group Inc. We publish plain-language material about wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and the funding step that most plans skip, and we prepare documents from the decisions you make.
Not a law firm. Rico Williams is not an attorney. We do not give legal advice, we do not represent anyone, and nothing we publish or prepare creates an attorney-client relationship. When your situation calls for legal advice, we say so and point you to a licensed attorney in your state.
Three things we offer. Free resources from the book. A $150 planning consult review call. The $149 Triple Lock document package. One-to-one living trust preparation is quoted only after the consult, so the scope and price fit your family.
Our stance. You decide; we prepare; a licensed attorney in your state verifies before you sign. That order does not change.
The Book
The Legacy Blueprint
The memo our families never got: what a trust actually is, why most plans fail after the paperwork is signed, and how to make sure yours does not. Paperback, Kindle, and hardcover on Amazon. The companion checklist, comparison chart, and funding tracker are free.
